The vacation is so close now (only about a week away) and I’m so looking forward to it this year. The weather here isn’t really screaming “summer” yet but then again, the summers in Sweden can be cold and rainy. June was a month when I enjoyed a lot of great looking polishes and lovely nail arts. Being in the process of writing my very first E-book about nail art has made me revisit some of the nail art techniques that I haven’t done in a long time as well as learning new ones (like the fan brush technique that I’ve recently tried for the first time and that I absolutely love!!). I’ve also tried for the first time the one-stroke technique which I found difficult but oh so pretty when done right! I’ll have to practice more on that when I’m done with the nail art book which will not include the one-stroke because it’s done with acrylic paints.

This month I’ve done three guest posts at Eleven.se. The first one featured China Glaze’s collection Surprise, the second was about the Ciaté Beach House summer collection and the third one was about Layla polishes. Of these three guest posts, I loved the outcome of the Ciaté Beach House so much that it made it to my top 3 of nail art this month.

Another tough decision to make! Or three to be right :D After thinking a lot about my favorites and leaving some of my favorites on the side, these are the ones that made it to the top three this month: Shimmer Polish – Vivian, KB Shimmer – Belle of Mall and Smitten Polish – Audrey’s Rainbow.

great round up post! i like them all but I think my favorite nail art is the chevrons with flowers because I haven’t seen anyone do that before! i love the contrast between girly flowers and more edgy chevrons :) Belle of the Mall and Audrey’s Rainbow are really pretty polishes too!

All good choices but I think ‘Summer Flowers’ is my favourite. It seems a very popular design; I added it to my Pinterest board and so far it has been repinned 45 times! I love ‘Belle of the Mall’ as well. Thanks for all the nail art inspiration! Wishing you all the best with your new book. :)
