I’m a big fan of combining different nail art techniques in one manicure and I’m a big fan of floral manicures so I decided to go for a floral today for Nail Art Sunday combined with freehanded chevrons. The base of the whole manicure is the lovely Essie – Find Me An Oasis. For the flowers I’ve used the watercolor technique to do the insides of the flowers and continued to contour them with the darker pink of the two used for the petals that is another Essie named Secret Story. I’ve also used China Glaze – In a Lilly Bit for the petals and Kicks – Spring Lilac for the insides of the flowers. The black dots are done with Nordic Cap – NP12.
For the chevron nails I’ve layered one coat of Shimmer Polish – Tracy over Essie – Find Me An Oasis and freehanded chevrons with Nordic Cap NP12 and Kicks – Spring Lilac.
