Mentality – Pastille

By MyNailpolishOnline

It’s holo Friday at Skimmerskuggan today in Sweden and I want to share with you a beautiful turquoise holo coming from Mentality! I’ve enjoyed a couple of Mentality polishes before (a couple of mattes) and I loved them so much that I decided to acquire a holo one too! The polish has a great jelly formula (yes, a turqouise jelly holo!) and it covered in two coats. I’ve bought the polish from Edgy Polish that has a great selection of Mentality polishes and is on it’s way of restocking and getting some new ones too! For more Mentality please visit Christine from Polished Marvels that shows a lot of Mentality polishes this week.

Guest post at Eleven with Ester nails

By MyNailpolishOnline

Easter is almost here so it was time to do an Easter inspired manicure. I did that in a guest post for Eleven.se which you can see here. The manicure is based on a couple of IsaDora textured polishes. The purple one is called Cotton Candy and the yellow one is called Lemon Soda. I added some half moons with Ciaté – Sweet Pea and painted a chicken on the accent nail. I realized that I haven’t swatched Lemon Soda yet and I should do it these days because it’s such a perfect polish for Easter :D

Etude House – Strawberry Stars Candy

By MyNailpolishOnline

Today I want to show you a very sweet polish coming from Etude House. I’ve been gifted this polish by the sweet A Lacquered Affair and I’m totally loving it. The light pink base is so perfect for spring and the colors are complementing the light jelly base perfectly. The polish has some hidden glitter stars in it too so I had to place one on my accent nail ;) Unfortunately I can’t really see what the polish is called but googling around I found out that it could be Strawberry Stars Candy. Anyone out there that knows if I’m right?

Guest post at Eleven.se

By MyNailpolishOnline

For today’s guest post at Eleven.se I’ve played around with OPI’s sheer tins. I see a lot of possibilities with these polishes both worn on their own and as nail art. The Sheer Tins are indeed sheer but buildable to a vibrant color. On the picture below I’ve used OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls as a base and I built blocks of colors with a half dry nail polish brush. On top of that I painted a black flower letting the colors shine through to the petals. For swatches of the Sheer Tins and for more pictures, see the guest post here.

piCture pOlish – Aurora

By MyNailpolishOnline

I was lucky enough to be able to get my hands on some Picture Polish limited edition polishes when they restocked for about a couple of weeks ago. Aurora is one of those polishes and I’m just so glad that I’ve managed to get it! The polish is a multichrome that shifts from teal to green to pink and to purple and I just love the mixture of big and fine shimmer particles! It’s a real beauty, that’s for sure! In the pictures below I’ve layered one coat of Aurora over a black base and that seemed to be a good base for that polish.
