31DC2015 – Day9 Rainbow Nails

I’ve done a quite subtle rainbow today. I wanted the rainbow as a line on one side of my nails so I started with a couple of coats if IsaDora Marble which is such a great white! It has replaced my OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls which was my favorite for a while and I think I’ll need a second bottle of Marble soon.

When my background was very dry I placed one striping tape on the side to mask for the rainbow and then I started to paint the colors in the following order:

  • Red: Revlon – Revlon Red
  • Orange: IsaDora – Bird of Paradise
  • Yellow: Ruby Kisses – Yellow Bikini
  • Green: Wet ‘n Wild – Miami Spirit
  • Blue: NfuOh – MOR08
  • Purple: Cirque Colors: Lean

I used a little bit of nail polish remover to make an impression of watercolors then I removed the tape and sealed the design with a topcoat.
