This theme is actually a classic for summertime even if I’ve only done it twice before, here and here! Palms have been done on so many backgrounds, most of them over a gradient. I wanted to re-do the palms this year so I went for a background done with colors that weren’t as vivid as neon gradients can be. I started by doing a quick gradient with Sephora Psychedelic and IsaDora – City Lights. On top of it I started painting palms with a black coming from the Swedish Nordic Cap with the name (or number) NP12. It’s a great black for nail art but I’ve been using it for a while and it’s starting to be “too” thick! I should use some thinner to make it more workable.
I’ve topcoated the manicure with a regular topcoat and loved how the palms looked in the sunset. Then I wanted to try to topcoat my palms with a matte topcoat from MakeUp Store that I’ve got into a Glossy Box. I liked the matte effect too but I went back go a glossy manicure afterwards. I guess I liked the glossiness better :D

Gillar verkligen den här manikyren, särskilt att palmerna inte är så detaljerade utan ser mer “målade” ut. Jättefin effekt. Gillar nog också den glansiga versionen bäst, kanske för att den matta inte ser helt supermatt ut?
