If you are freehanding half-moons you might notice that it’s hard to paint them the same way on every nail. While this is the charm of the technique, or of any freehanded technique, I am obsessed with painting my half-moons the same way on all the nails. That’s not an easy task and I was going back and forth with the black and the white until I finally managed to obtain something that looked kind of OK. That made me wish I would have used guides but then I know I want to be able to paint those half-moons without guides so… I had to practice, right?
For the background I used a much better white than for the dotticure done the other day. The white is coming from IsaDora and it’s called Marble. Love it! I thought it was going to cover in one single coat (which it didn’t) but two coats are totally OK. The black is Nordic Cap NP12.
