Camo Nail Art

I thought I’d try a new nail art technique the other day while having this beautiful green on my nails from Catrice! I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time but I didn’t get around doing it until now. The technique is really simple: drop some polish into a glass of water as if you would do a water marbling (one color is enough) and spray some hair spray onto the surface! Dip your nails into the pattern and you’re done! I used two colors for this, one at the time. I started with OPI My Vampire is Buff and used Nordic Cap NP12 for the black spots. I love the different patterns on the nails and the fact that they ended up so different!! My favorite is the ring finger but even the pointer is kind of cool!

That looks amazing! I love it. Your color choices go so well together. That is where I have the most trouble, choosing colors that are complementary or have enough contrast. This technique sounds so easy.

Lovely result! I didn’t realise it was ‘hairsprayed’ water marble! That’s a really neat technique, and I’ve been tempted to try, but I’ve not been successful at marbling.
