Sally Hansen – Cream of the Crop

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that I’ve got the Sally Hansen SS2016 collection named Tribal Vibe! It’s going to be a fun collection to try since it has colors that are fitting my mood perfectly right now, most of them being nudes and earthy colors.

I started with the lightest of them, Cream of the Crop, which looked like an interesting nude shimmer. Surprisingly it was very sheer, more like a shade one could use for a French manicure. The polish is build-able though so after three coats I was able to get a semi-opaque surface. If you have long nails you are going to see VNL after three coats. The color is fresh and elegant and I’ve worn this for three days loving it.

The polishes included in this collection have all Sally Hansen’s gel formula and together with the new-released topcoat, the manicure is supposed to hold for two weeks. Such a durability test is quite difficult for me to do since I change nail polish frequently and I don’t plan any two-week vacations any time soon, but it would be interesting to see the results of such a test.
