Nail Art – Roses on blue

I believe spring is on its way, especially since I’m starting to want to wear floral manicures again! With that in mind, I started to apply a light blue polish from Zoya called Lillian. For the roses I used Revlon – Revlon red and a white coming from Nordic Cap, NP13. I didn’t even realize that I had this white in my stash so I was quite happy to find it the other day among my untrieds! NP13 worked nicely for nail art and I hope for it to be a great white base! We’ll see about that in a couple of weeks :D

When I was finished painting my roses I thought it would also be nice to have them framed with gold. I love how gold added that extra something to the floral manicure and I think that I could have been just as happy with only applying a gold polish as a funky French on top of this manicure. For the gold I used CND Vinylux Locket Love.
