Pastel nail art with stripes

I have so many polishes that I’ve only worn one or two times and it’s such a pity! I still love most of them and from time to time, I try to pick up one of my old time favorites.

Yesterday I’ve picked up the timeless For Audrey from China Glaze! It’s one of those shades that I’ve forgot about but that I really loved finding in my stash while browsing through my pretties! After applying a couple of coats of the polish I wanted to paint some pastel pink stripes just to exercise my freehanding techniques. It went kind of OK but there’s still room for improvement! I also added some thin pink metallic stripes around the pink. I originally wanted to use a silver for that but I was too curious about the metallic pink so I used that instead!

The creme pink is CND Vinylux Winter Glow and the metallic pink is CND Vinylux Tundra.

I finished my manicure with a mattifying topcoat.
