31DC2015 – Day 4 Green Nails

I’ve had these chevron vinyls for a couple of weeks or so and I’ve been thinking of some color combinations but I couldn’t decide what colors to try them with. Since most colors work together with chevrons I ended up using them for today’s Green Nails challenge. I started with a couple of my favorites from Appeal4’s fall collection “Back to Copenhagen”:

• the light muted green crème Trendsetter
• the shimmery Little Mermaid

I only needed one coat of Little Mermaid to get the result in the picture and I loved working with the chevron nail vinyls! The vinyls are medium dark blue and I was actually considering wearing them as they were because the color combination (blue and green) was kind of cool.

I change my mind though since I really needed to try how easy they were to use and to try doing a chevron with “Little Mermaid” :D I must say I was impressed by the quality of them. They were easy to use and I really loved how the manicure ended up!
