Roundup for December 2014

We are at the beginning of January 2015! It’s amazing how time flies! Any new years resolutions? I think I might pass over the resolutions and set goals instead. Or is it the same? Hm, I’ll have to think about that!

December has been as it usually is, extremely busy on the personal side with Christmas and New Year’s Eve coming, presents and all the preparations and celebrations! Let’s take a look at the features, nail arts and polishes presented during December.

Features

This month’s features were at the Swedish online beauty store Eleven.se:

• Glittery manicure with Essie polishes. This is the latest one and it presents a suggestion for the New Year’s Eve nails
• OPI’s collaboration collection with Gwen Stefani. This collection has some stunning shades! Only a selection of the polishes was presented
• Depend glitters – Three glitters were shown on their own and combined in glitter gradients.

Nail Arts

These are my favorite nail arts from December, coming in no particular order:

• Red and White swirls done with needle marbling. I must try this technique again with other colors! I think the effect is quite cool!
• Dotticure with Christmas colors. I love the mixture of the white, the silver and the red polishes!
• Blue nails with water decals coming from Hail the Nails. You should see these glowing in the dark <3

Polishes

I was officially in love with purples during December, wasn’t I?! Looking at my choices I have a matte, a shimmer and a textured PURPLE of different shades and textures :D I can’t help loving purples right now :P

• Zoya Thea is the textured one in the picture above! I love all those textured polishes coming from Zoya but I couldn’t take all three of them so let’s just have Thea representing the Wishes collection from Zoya.
• Zoya Savita is the matte one! Really gorgeous!
• Kiko 245 – a stunning shimmer.
