New Year’s Eve Manicure
Happy New Year Everyone!
This is my New Year’s Eve manicure! I had a dark glittery manicure in mind when I started to think about my new year’s eve manicure but I ended up with a white one :D I’m not quite sure how that happened but I guess it’s a reaction to all the dark shades I’ve been wearing during fall and winter! The base is actually not OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls as one would guess. The white polish is Layla N02. The glitter used for this manicure is Shimmer Polish Astrid, one of the polishes that made it to my top 5 polishes 2014. The swirls and the dots are done with Revlon – Sky’s the limit.
What a surprise, and a delight, to open your blog and see a white-based New Year’s mani! My tolerance for darker polishes starts wearing thin around the middle of October, and this year, the dark – and winter holiday – manis just seemed unending! I have been on Instagram lately re-Pinning summer neon manis to alleviate all the darkness I have been seeing (not even the glitter has helped lighten them for me). I love that Astrid! Looks like Shimmer will be on my list of polish brands to look into now. Happy New Year’s!
