Roudup for October 2014

Favorite Nail Arts October 2014

Favorite Nail Arts October 2014

Taking a small break from nail art this month (well, a very small one since I’ve actually done more nail arts than I remember doing) I’ve been wearing a lot of gorgeous polishes during October. They were dark, they were glittery and they looked all ah-mazing!! It’s been one of those months when it’s hard to pick the favorites among the polishes! Hehe I must have been in the mood for these dark kind of colors ^_^. Some of the polishes I’ve been wearing are not featured on the blog yet but they will the next week or so ;) I’ve also shortened my nails quite a bit due to a nail breakage so get ready for some shorties during the next week :D

I’ve also participated in United in Pink organized by Lacky Corner for a week ago and I enjoyed a lot of pinks for a while! I’ve actually come to love pinks in most shades! I remember when I start blogging, pink was not a color I reached for so often..

Features

Let’s take a look at the features during October:

Nail Art

Two of my favorite nail arts for October were taken from the United in Pink week, the pink watercolored flowers and the pink fan brush nail art. The third one was done using one of my favorite nail art techniques in a long time, the water spotted nail art technique that I’ve used together with a nude to rust/brown gradient for Nail Envy.

Polishes

Well, here is the hard part, choosing the favorite nail polishes for October! However, at least two of them were given, Celestial Cosmetics – Bay of Rainbows that has such a beautiful deep green color and Pahlish – Your Bright Shadow that I almost didn’t want to remove when it was time to do that! I must wear that polish again soon! This and Bay of Rainbows! The third one was hard to pick since I had like five polishes that I wanted to choose instead of Ciaté – Sass Pots! I ended up with Sass Pots though because of it’s beautiful shine in sunlight!

For the next month, look out for swatches of  some of the new A-Englands and also swatches of the new Cirque Colors, the Live it Up Collection. Also, come back for a surprise during the next two weeks ;)

I adore the last two nail arts – with flowers and chevron-like; I haven’t seen bad manis in your blog so far :)
