United in Pink – Watercolored Flowers
Today starts United in Pink and I’m joining in with a pink floral manicure. The base is a Barbie pink coming from Victoria Secret named String Bikini which you can see below. It’s a very pink pink polish if you know what I mean :D I’m not usually wearing these kind of pinks but I found this one quite cool in some way :) I think it was the nail art that made the base look cooler than I would have considered it otherwise ;) The flowers are painted with the watercolor technique using Pipe Dream Polish – V.I.P Pass and some polish remover. It’s quite an easy technique and it’s one of my favorites when it comes to florals. I’ve also described the technique in my e-book “Basic Nail Art techniques and how to combine them“. After painting the flowers I added one dot of gold in the middle using Orly Luxe.
