31DC2014 – Day 20 Water Marble

My favorite pattern when it comes to water marble is actually stripes or sideways lines. Why is it my favorite pattern, you might ask? Well, it’s one of the fastest way to water marble since you only have to do it once for all four fingernails, so you actually dip four fingernails into the water marbling pattern and you’ll get your marbles on the nails :D That will reduce the water marbling from ten patterns (one for each fingernail) to four, one for the first four nails, one for the other four nails, one for your left thumb and one for the right thumb. I even tried to dip both thumbs at the same time to gain time but trust me, that’s not a good idea if you are alone at home since you won’t be able to catch the excess polish with the Q-tip after you’ve dipped both thumbs into the pattern :D

For the water marbling below I’ve started with Yes Love G10-2 as a base and used Yes Love G10-2, Kiko 336 Electric Blue and Kicks Lemon Grass for the pattern. The dots are done with Kiko 336 and Kicks Lemon Grass. The picture is taken from my e-book.

Take a look at last year’s water marbling when I was going green.

Jättefint! Lyckas aldrig med water marble själv, blir mest bara kladdigt och totalt misslyckat, så jag nöjer mig med att titta på dina och andras fina kreationer :)
