Roundup for August 2014

Fall is on it’s way and I’m just loving it! Sure, the mornings are colder and darker and so are the evenings, but there is something cozy about this time of the year! Maybe you’re wondering why I’m posting the roundup today and not tomorrow :D The reason is that tomorrow is September 1st and I’m starting the 31 Day Challenge 2014 so I wanted to post the roundup today at the end of August :) Let’s take a look at this month’s favorite polishes, nail arts and features!

I’ve done four guest posts this month, three at and one at “A girl and her chicken named Betty“. The manicures featured in the guest posts included Kardashian beauty polishes, Mavala’s Technicolor polishes, Zoya polishes and a gradient with golden flowers taken from my soon to come out e-book “Basic nail art techniques and how to combine them“.

My favorite nail arts for August were the gold flowers done on the blue gradient, featured in a blog post done for “A girl and her chicken named Betty“, the watercolored flower that goes over the two nails and the watermelon manicure. Actually I didn’t expect I would love the last one so much but I really did and even if I love the other two a lot I think the watermelon manicure totally won my heart this month.

From a lot of gorgeous polishes worn this month I’ve found my favorites for August in these three polishes. The beautiful “Pipe Dream – V.I.P. Pass” is very close to one of the polishes worn during my vacation so I obviously love this color :D “IsaDora – Autumn Leaves” is one of the prettiest IsaDora polishes that I own so it had a given place in my top three this month! Then “Kiko 336 – Electric blue“… so beautiful! Of course I had to have Electric blue on my favorite list, it’s just too pretty to ignore it!
