I’m combining once again Nail Art Sunday with #BusyGirlNails instagram challenge. That is possible because Nail Art Sunday’s theme this week is free to choose so I went with the theme that #BusyGirlNails has which is Watermelon. I’ve actually never done a water melon manicure before and I had so much fun doing it! I started with one coat of the beautiful green Wet ‘n Wild – Miami Spirit and did a ruffian with Essie – She’s Pampered. I painted then a thin line with OPI – My Boyfriend Scales Walls between the Miami Spirit and She’s Pampered and took a flat nail art brush with a little bit of nail polish remover to do a sort of gradient between the red and the white. For the rest of the nails and the upper part of the ruffian I used a fan brush and China Glaze – Grass is Lime Greener. I finally added some black seeds on top of the red surface :)

Nail Art – Watermelon nails
Så fint och roligt, får det att vattnas i munnen;)
That looks absolutely amazing!
:-)
Jag har sett många vattenmelonmanikyrer i sommar men aldrig denna kombination! Gillar hur du lyckats skapa något nytt av något som känns så etablerat redan :) Jättesnygg verkligen!
Gorgeous mani!!! Love that it is an accent nail and the others go with that pattern <3
oh WOW! You’ve captured the watermelon features so perfectly!
How do you do the ruffian look?
Wait no never mind. I was referring to the fan brush look

I’ve described the fan brush technique in a tutorial here: http://www.mynailpolishonline.com/2014/06/nail-art-2/nail-art-sunday-fan-brush-technique-tutorial/
Vilken snygg och rolig nail art! :)
This is super cool! Like real watermelon :)
Snyggt! Blev sugen på vattenmelon nu ju :)
