Today’s theme for Nail Art Sunday is quite interesting: Vintage. I’ve done some vintage nails for about a year ago which I loved and today I wanted to do a different color scheme and to take a different approach to the theme. I’ve been a lot into sponging polishes and using the water color technique to darken edges lately either at the cuticles or on the nail tips so I thought I would continue with this technique since I still love adding colors this way instead of doing a gradient. I started with two coats of IsaDora – Creme de la Creme and then I sponged some dark purple (and metallic) edges with China Glaze – Randevous with you. After the nails were dry from the top coat applied on the base I applied some rose decals from Hail the Nails.
