Remember last week’s swatches of the first part of Mod Lacquer’s Fall collection Cryptid? Well, today it’s time to take a look at part II.
This is probably my favorite from the part two of the collection. Goblin is a beautiful green shimmer that is also a duochrome going from green to olive brown depending on the angles. The polish is infused with holographic shimmer that doesn’t actually create rainbows but gives the polish a beautiful sparkle in sunlight. Goblin is the sister polish of Revenant which is also a duochrome with holographic shimmer. I’ve applied two coats in the picture.
This is a red glitter in a black jelly base. This is actually so pretty! The red glitters sparkle like jewels on the nails! I also love how they sparkle in both red, orange and magenta colors! That gives the polish that extra something. The polish applied well and covered in two coats.
This is a black based glitter filled with dark holographic glitters that looks awesome on the nails. Thunderbird has a great application and a nice coverage. It could be used on it’s own at one coat but it becomes so much prettier at two coats!
I’m actually a big fan of brown based shimmers even if I don’t own so many of them. That’s why I was so happy seeing that the collection actually includes a brown based shimmer with golden flakes! Gorgeous combination! Two easy coats covered completely.
Part II of the Cryptid collection was as exciting as part I. The collection feels very apropriate for fall and actually kept my interest thoughout the whole collection. My favorite from part two is the green duochrome with the name Goblin but I actually feel the other three are just as beautiful in their own way.
What do you think about part II of the Cryptid collection? Do you have any favorite/favorites?
