The last day of work before the vacation has come and I’m more than happy to enjoy this summer that has already begun if you ask the weather gods. I’m really looking forward to this vacation and this time I’m planing on taking some time off from blogging. As I’m spending my time in France, visiting the parents and just enjoying the summer days I plan on keeping my manicures a little bit longer and only blogging from time to time. This can mean one manicure a week or just none until the vacation is over. We’ll have to see.
I’ll be back to the regular schedule August the 5th.
Until then, let’s take a look at a manicure that is based on a quite subtle gradient between a creme/pastel yellow polish named CND Vinylux Vagabond and a dusty pink named CND Vinylux Uninhibited. Such gradients are easy to achieve as they require quite little work. I’ve then applied a topcoat and let the manicure dry. One needs a dry manicure for the water decals that I’ve applied on top of the gradient afterwards.
The decals come from Saijtam.se and you can find them here.
If you want to learn more about doing gradients, applying water decals of just nail art in genearal, buy my nail art book Basic Nail Art Techniques and how to combine them that can now be found both for Kindle and as a paperback.
Have a great vacation!

Söt manikyr! Hoppas du får en härlig semester, har du pluggat vidare med franskan hela året? Visst var det så att du började på halvtid för ett år sedan?
