I’ve seen dandelion nails for a while (read: a couple of years maybe) and I’ve always wanted to try them but it wasn’t until yesterday that I took my nail art brush, a couple of colors ( a white and a black, both from Nordic Cap) and I started painting an accent nail over a manicure that I’ve already wore.
The base is a beautiful pink/magenta holo coming from Lilypad Lacquer named Blooming Violet. I could have picked a better day to wear a holo because we had a gray day yesterday that turned into snow at the end of the day but that holo is actually also a gorgeous shimmer so I didn’t mind wearing it despite the weather.
The dandelion was actually pretty easy and quick to freehand so I wouldn’t mind doing something similar in the future, maybe with a different background or as a whole manicure. For now I’m just enjoying it as it is.
