Nail art – flowers on black

One of the polishes that I really enjoyed wearing during December was OPI – Center of the You-niverse. It’s kind of odd since I’m much more enjoying the lighter shades on my nails, but there was something special about this black! I think it was the silver shimmer/micro glitters that add an extra dimension to the polish!

I decided to use it as a base for a floral manicure the other day. To contrast to the black background I used white and pink (IsaDora Cherise) then I tried to use Wet ‘n Wild Miami Spirit for the leaves but it was too dark. Instead of changing the green I started blending it with white on a piece of paper before I painted it on my nails and that did the trick. I didn’t blend the colors a lot, I just picked up green on a nail art brush that I then dipped into white and blended them a little bit. That’s all that was required to lighten up that green.

Jättesnyggt! Trots att det är mitt i vintern känns de helt passande också :)
