I’ve seen a lot of beautiful candy cane nails done with tape and I was almost about to do such a manicure but I changed my mind! Tape manicures are fun to do but I just don’t have the patience to place all the tape pieces into place so I thought I would go for water marbling! That would give an interesting (and more organic) result.
I started with one coat of OPI – I cannoli wear OPI and continued with the water marble pattern on the surface of the water. The color used for the marbling are the greyish white OPI – I cannoli wear OPI, Zoya Sara and Zoya Logan. I actually didn’t do much of a pattern into the water. I just dropped the colors and used a stick to draw one time from the middle of the glass to the edge. I also used one pattern for one hand. I noticed that if you carefully dip one nail at the time aiming for the desired pattern and if you don’t disturb the rest of the pattern you can use a lot of the remaining pattern for the rest of your nails. The result was a little different from what I imagined it to be but I kind of like it :D

Det blev jättefint! Jag har bara marblat en eller två gånger och då gick det sådär men jag borde kanske testa på nytt…
