There are actually a lot of types of chevrons and of IKAT patterns and while I was wondering what I wanted to wear on my nails next, both color-wise and pattern-wise (flowers did come to my mind, but I wanted to do something else for a change :D ) I just went for a chevron IKAT in the summer shades of white and turquoise. I really love wearing white nails and I really love wearing turquoise nails so the combination was such a win for me!
I’ve also realized that summer is really on its way and I’ve started to look among my polishes that I’ve got during my summer vacation last year when I was in France (also realizing that I have several of them in my untried pile of polishes :D ) so I picked up the white coming from Sephora, Under the Covers and the turquoise coming from Kiko, 389 Lattementa. The white was sheerer than I remembered it to be but I only used two coats for the nail art. I should have put on a third coat though, judging from how the nails looked in person.
Anyway, I think I’ll have to swatch at least some of the rest of the polishes that I’ve got from last year’s summer vacation before I’m bringing back this year’s haul :D
