Nail Art Sunday – Squares
The theme for this week’s Nail Art Sunday at Lelack is Squares. I wanted to freehand the squares even if I knew they wouldn’t end up perfect and I went for the bigger size of squares. The base of my manicure is OPI – My Vampire is Buff which would have made a perfect fit for almost any color. I hesitated a lot when choosing the color of the lines that define the squares and ended up doing them black. On top of my manicure I applied one coat of Depend 363 which I’ll have to show you a swatch of soon. I’m not so happy with the end result but I guess it’s kind of OK… I think the only way for me to be happy with such a manicure would have been to have used tape :D
I noticed some places selling artists’ masking tape in, I think, 1/4 and 1/2 inch widths which may be handy to have around for when striping tape is too narrow. You could try an artist supply source or Aliexpress (but you may have a problem figuring out what “category” to call the tape).
Of course, scotch tape would also work well!
Excuse me but I am confused, did you say you decided to make “black” squares? What am I doing wrong if they look white to me?

Utan det sista lagret Depend lack hade nog manikyren sett lite stel och tråkig ut, från mitt håll så känns det som att skimret är det som sätter personlighet till manikyren. Jag gillar den.
