Water Spotted Nail Art

I love using the water spotted technique. This is actually my second try but it wasn’t hard the first time and it was just as easy the second time. For getting a this kind of pattern you drop some polish onto the surface of the water then spray with hair spray (deo spray works just as well) until you punch holes into the polish. Wait for a second or two for the holes to form some kind of pattern then dip your fingers into that pattern as if you were dipping for water marbling. For the manicure below I’ve used China Glaze – Too Yacht to Handle as a base and Nordic Cap NP12 for the spots.

This is a scheduled post so I won’t be able to read the comments and answer to the questions right now but I’ll be doing that as soon as I get back from my vacation :)

Stunning! I really have to try out this technique. For me, the manis that carry this technique off the best are those that keep the polishes in the same color family but also make sure they are fiercely, dramatically contrasting. Thank you for sharing this. Inspiring and beautiful!

Det var en häftig effekt! Frågan är om jag kommer orka testa själv, blir så less på allt kladd när jag håller på med marbling och sånt :/

Stunning! I did give this technique a try some weeks back and failed because I skipped watching the finishing part of the Tutorial and I was apalled by the mess it created – LOL!!! Beautiful turqoise stone look :-) xxx
