Halloween Splatter Manicure

Happy Halloween!

The first splatter manicure was so much fun so I decided to do a second splatter with the Halloween colors. I was so excited this time that I forgot one of the important steps while doing a splatter: either to use vaseline on the cuticles or to tape them. I’m using tape when I attempt manicures like this and water marbling but this time I just did the manicure with all the splats covering the nails AND the rest of the fingers lol. That caused a lot of clean-up and a note to myself: USE TAPE the next time you’re doing splats or water marble :D

For this splatter manicure I’ve started with IsaDora Orange for the base and did splats in two colors: The black is NordicCap NP12 and the champagne, metallic color is Color Club Antiquated. I couldn’t control the splats this time either but I’m hoping to learn that the next time I’m doing a splatter!

    Wow, this is beautiful! I didn´t try splatter manicure yet but if I do so in the future, I will be mindful of a tape :D

    This is PERFECT for Halloween :) You should do one just like this with christmas colors for the holidays..ooo with some glitter too ;)

    omg I did the same thing when I did water marbling the first time. Forgot to protect!

    Så läckert det blev! Jag vet inte om jag vågar mig på en splattermanikyr, det känns som att det är hög risk att jag stänker ner betydligt mer än mig själv.. =)

      Det blev inte så himla mycket stänk på sidan om… Visst det blev en del men om man har sugröret nära naglarna så undviker man alltför mycket stänk på sidan om :)
