Braided Nail Art

I’ve seen braided nails done by many talented girls lately and I wanted to try this myself. The technique can be done with tape or by freehand. I really don’t have the patience to wait for the colors to dry in between the layers so I can use tape, so I‘ve used the freehand technique. For the braided nails I’ve used the Sephora Urban Forest set (Military Jacket, Jungle Playground and City Amazon) because I thought the colors were lovely together. The polishes were pigmented enough to cover each other with one coat but I saw afterwards that I did miss to cover entirely on one of the nails. Seeing the end result I’m kind of happy with the way it turned out. My only complain is that I should have used other polishes with smaller brushes because the color blocks are way too big right now.

    Riktigt snygg kombination på lacken där! Har själv funderat lite på en sådan här manikyr, men inte hittat “rätt” lack än. Det kanske kommer en vacker dag dock. :)

    Snygg teknik och fina lack! Jag skulle nog vara tvungen att använda tejp och då faller det på att jag inte heller är tålmodig nog…

    Själv sitter jag och googlar på hur man får till det med sånt där fiskbensparkettmönster på naglarna. Det har jag varit sugen på att testa länge!
