Nail Art with China Glaze Riveting

From time to time I’m in the mood of experimenting with different types of nail art. I wish I had more time to do that than I have though. I was in the mood for experimenting a couple of days ago and it resulted in this manicure with China Glaze – Riveting as a base. Riveting came last year but I didn’t get it until for about a week ago from Eleven.se and I’m so glad I did! The polish looks like fire on my nails! The application was really great! I think I could have got away with one coat but I applied two coats in the pictures below just to be sure all signs of VNL were gone.

I started doing a flower without having a certain goal from the biginning. I ended up with an accent nail with a white flower (the white is OPI – My Boyfried Scales Walls which I’ve actually ordered a backup bottle of now :D ) and a rhinestone from Hail the Nails in the middle. The dots are done with a dotting tool and with the same white as the flower, OPI – My Boyfried Scales Walls.

Comparison – The pinks from China Glaze’s HoloGlam collection

For a little while ago I’ve shown you a comparison between the blues from China Glaze’s HoloGlam collection. For today’s HoloFriday at Skimmerskuggan it’s time to take a look at the pinks from the same collection. In the picture below we have:
Pointer: Infra Red
Long finger: Astro Hot
Ring finger: Get Outta my Space
Pinky: Not in this galaxy
My absolutely favorite from the pinks is Infra Red but I think the lighter ones are awesome too! Once again, this collection is amazing! Which one of the pinks is your favorite?

China Glaze – Astro-Hot

Today I’ve realized I’ve got one more polish coming from China Glaze’s HoloGlam collection to show you, the beautiful Astro-Hot. The formula was as good as the other ones with a great coverage (two coats in the picture below) and a smooth application. Direct sunlight is needed to bring out the beautiful holo effect and when the sun hits the nails, that holoeffekt is just gorgeous!

Comparison – The blues from China Glaze’s HoloGlam collection

While this manicure looks pretty much like an ombré, it’s only a comparison between the blues from China Glaze’s HoloGlam collection :D One of the readers wondered how the blues compared with each other so with a little bit of the sun outside, here it is!
In the picture below we have:
Pointer: Strap on your moonboots
Long finger: Take a trek
Ring finger:  Sci-fly by
Pinky: Don’t be a luna-tic
My favorite of the blue ones is still Strap on your moonboots and I think even Don’t be a luna-tic is becoming one of my favorites too!
