Nail Art – Chevrons

I saw my chevron guides the other day and I couldn’t resist doing a chevron manicure. It seems that I haven’t done one in a good while, have I! I considered a standard chevron manicure done over a water colored background, but then I changed my mind while wearing the guides on my nails and went for this type of chevrons, leaving a larger portion of the water colored background visible.

I actually had to do this manicure twice because I didn’t let the background dry long enough the first time, which was kind of annoying. Lesson learned, I let the background dry longer and managed to lift the guides without lifting the background :P
