After looking at my favorite nail art from 2018, let’s take a look at my top 5 of favorite polishes worn during 2018. Some of them are new, some older and some re-released. It’s tough choosing only five polishes as I feel I’ve worn so many gorgeous polishes during 2018, that’s why one of the polishes gets to represent an entire collection :D. Let’s take a look down below at my picks for this year.
Sometimes you just have to choose one polish to represent an entire collection. That’s the case with China Glaze OMG. One would think that a silver holo is trivial nowadays, but it’s not. I totally get the obsession with this polish.
This is not a regular red. The shade of OPI We Seafood and Eat It is stunning! I just had to put it on my favorites for this year. I love it’s kind of milky.
I’ve been using a lot of Pink Gellac polishes this year. You can’t deny that the shine of such a polish is fantastic! I also love the shimmer of this particular polish, Army Green. It’s a work appropriate polish, in my opinion.
I really enjoy a good orange and CND Vinylux Gypsy IS a good orange. A lovely one. I’ve used it on its own and I’ve used it as a base for nail art. I could use it again and I will use it again soon.
There’s something special about OPI’s DS Series, especially the holos. I’ve had this bottle of DS Illuminate for a long time but sadly, I’ve dropped it on the floor this fall and it’s broken. I’ve managed to save a little bit of this gorgeous holo but I’ve lost a huge part of it. DS Illuminate is one of my favorite holos from this series, along with DS Glamour and DS Classic.
That’s all for this year’s polishes. Next time we take a look at my New Year’s Eve manicure and then we are entering 2019!
