OPI Closer than you might belem

You can’t really have a proper spring/summer collection without having a beautiful turquoise shade like OPI Closer than you might belem. The shade is one of those must haves for summer that reminds me of the ocean. I’m sure someone would think this is a pool shade too and I totally agree on that one. Is it too early to think of summer right now? I don’t think so, I would totally dream away to the warm days of vacation, whether they are here in Sweden or away some place warm.

So, let’s go back to the beautiful OPI Closer than you might belem now. This polish applies nicely and covers in a couple of coats. This is totally normal when it comes to the opacity. Often, I find polishes that require a couple of coats having a greater staying power than those that apply in one. Of course one could apply a second coat with the polishes that only require a one coat, too. I would certainly do that if I wanted a manicure that stayed on for a week or so.

I also always have a base and a topcoat, whether I’m swatching or I’m keeping the manicure. This is only a swatch, but I’m certainly going to wear this polish sometimes during spring. Maybe I will have this as part of a gradient, or a nail art. It’s one of those shades that make me want to try a lot of things with.

OPI Lisbon

OPI Closer than you might belem comes from OPI’s latest collection Lisbon, a collection of twelve beautiful spring and summer shades inspired by this beautiful city.
