CND Vinylux Uncovered is my last polish from CND’s latest collection called The Nude Collection. This is also one of the most delicate of the four of them, looking kind of sheer if you stay with one coat only. With a couple of coats, you’ll still be able to see your VNL but after three coats you’ll probably reach opacity. I know I did, but then I usually paint thicker coats than usual, or at least I think I do :D
I love that the color is build-able and that you can decide how sheer you want to wear this polish. As you may remember from my other posts with the other three polishes from the Nude Collection, CND has released these polishes with a new formula. That means that you won’t need a base for these polishes. The base is kind of built in these polishes. How cool is that!
Stamping on CND Vinylux Uncovered
All of my latest stampings are done using a plate from MoYou called Fashionista 08. This is a beautiful plate that offers quite a variety of patterns looking quite similar to each other. This is my favorite plate right now so I had to try a different pattern on this polish once again. Originally I thought I would want to use a purple for this manicure but I changed my mind the last minute and decided to go with a blue to make a greater contrast with the base.
For the stamping I used another CND Vinylux polish called Winter Nights, which is a dark blue creme polish. I’m impressed by how well this polish stamped too. I also think the plate helps a lot by having deep enough patterns.
Where to find CND
If you are looking for CND polishes and you live in Sweden I would recommend CND Sweden’s own page, but I know CND polishes are sold in other online stores too.
