CND Vinylux – Alpine Plum

I’ve received the CND Vinylux collection named the Glacial Collection the other day and I was quite fascinated by the color choices of this collection. We have icy cold shades, just perfect for the theme. I’ve only tried a couple of shades so far, but I can already tell you that the polishes are gorgeous!

I’m wearing Alpine Plum right now, a light lavender shimmer that flows onto the nails smoothly. It covers in two coats and I can’t see any signs of brushstrokes on my nails which I really love. What I do see though are the ridges, but this is how shimmers usually behave. These polishes have a new formula that allows you to skip the base coat process in order to enable the nails to breathe. I’ve used Alpine Plum this way, skipping the base, but I think I should have used a ridge filler in order to obtain smoother nails.

I really love this polish and I think it’s actually a great winter polish, totally in harmony with the title of this collection.

Not the typical winter collection colors at all in this. And that is nice according to me :) I just love your swatch of Alpine Plum.

Nja, denna känns inte som en favorit för mig. Nageldraken hade dock stämplat med den och det blev väldigt fint tyckte jag. Lack som funkar bra att stämpla med får alltid extrapoäng i min bok:)
