My second polish from Essie’s new series of bases is called Sheers to you. Yes, it’s sheer. Yes, I’ve applied three coats. I don’t think these bases are supposed to cover entirely so I actually don’t think it’s a bad thing that they don’t cover. These are bases that should strengthen and nourish the nails thanks to the camellia oil extract that is supposed to bind moisture to your nails. The shade is somewhat colder than the Tinted Love which is a plus if you have a tendency of yellow on your nail tips. This is a perfect base if you want to do French manicures (or funky French if you’d rather do that!). As Tinted Love, this polish has a very subtle shimmer that only shows in some light conditions. The shimmer is very pretty though.
