The sugar spun nail art technique is one tricky and time consuming technique. Therefore I’m not doing sugar spun nails so often. I think this is only my second manicure done with this technique and it took what it seemed like forever to do. It also takes forever for the sugar spun effect to dry if you don’t apply a fast drying topcoat which kind of ruins a little bit the 3D-effect. The time the manicure takes is worth the trouble though so it’s an interesting technique to do and wear from time to time. I used the technique for my guest post at Eleven.se which you can see here.

I think I have done just once the sugar spun mani and it was a big struggle, so I know what you mean. Though I love the effect and I think you managed very well this technique. Love the beautiful color combo!
