31DC2016 – Polka Dots

Today I’m combining the 31DC2016 that has the theme “Polka Dots” with Nail Art Sunday at LackyCorner which has a free theme this week. I went for the retro feeling when I did this polka dot manicure using pastels like ORLY – Gumdrop for the minty part and ProNails – Come out of your Shell for the off-white/cream/yellow-ish polish that complements the minty one. I really loved the retro look on my nails (even if I’m not a retro girl in real life) but I think some of the retro feeling was lost in the picture because of the light polish that (at least on my screen) looks much whiter than it was in person. I added a tiny funky french to accentuate the retro-look but I’m not sure it helped :D
