Needle marbling

I’ve been wearing this light pink base for some days now and I just didn’t want to take it off yet so I’ve used it as a base for my manicure below instead. I’m not wearing polishes for such a long time unless I’m on vacation but now I just felt like wearing a very light pink creme! That pink is GaDe – Angel Wings (I’ve showed you that one here) and it’s so light that  you can easily mistake it for a white, which I actually don’t mind.

So I went for a needle marbling manicure on top of my Angel Wings. It actually works better to do a needle marbling on top of an older manicure if you use it as a base because you’re base is already dry. I’ve applied an extra coat of Angel wings then I started to drop a black (A England – Lancelot), a gold (Milani – Gold Plated) and a blue/turquoise (ProNails – See Me) while the extra coat of Angel Wings was still wet. I started doing swirls with a dotting tool, trying to not overdo it, which is very easy to do. It’s actually the challenge of this technique, to not overdo the blending! I think I might have gone a little too far on some spots but I still think the outcome is pretty!
