Negative space dotticure – guest post at Eleven.se

I feel it’s been ages since I did a dotticure (but I might be wrong, hehe) so for my guest post at Eleven.se I decided to combine the two By Terry polishes that I own in a negative space dotticure!

The naked nail is actually a great canvas for nail art but if you have stained nails that could be a problem. You could first try to get rid of the stains if you have any and that’s actually not that hard. But if you choose your pattern carefully you can get away with showing a lot of negative spaces without showing too much stain.

Stains actually build up gradually and so the nail tips will always be more stained than your cuticles if you wear nail polish often. Of course you can prevent too much stain by always wearing a base coat but sometimes the stains build up anyway.

If you want to do a negative space manicure place most of the pattern on your nail tips to cover most of the stains and leave as much as possible of the nail close to your cuticles. This is what I did here in my manicure and that worked out great.

The dotticure is part of my guest post at Eleven.se. For the rest of my guest post, take a look here.

Jättefint! Sugen på att göra något liknande själv, om ändå inte mina naglar vore så himla korta just nu…
