I’ve gravitated towards short nails during the last half year but now my nails are shorter than ever. The current length isn’t primary my choice (I wouldn’t mind having slightly longer nails). I had a nail breakage on my index finger nail and after repairing it for the last couple of weeks over and over again, I’ve got tired of doing that so I shortened all my nails in order to match the broken nail.
Enough with the length talking, let’s take a look at today’s color, a summer blue from Sally Hansen’s Tribal Vibe collection. This collection is a Spring/Summer collection and I can see this being one of the summer shades. It’s crisp, it’s blue (pool-blue?) and it’s beautiful! It’s also one of those very pigmented colors that you can get away with putting just one coat on the nails. But I guess it’s better to apply a second coat if you’re going to keep the color on for a week or two (two is promised by Sally Hansen if you apply two coats of the polish and seal it with their own topcoat).
I guess it’s time to dream about summer now!
