Aqua is another water based polish coming from Little Ondine. As you remember I was very pleased with my Little Ondine polishes that I’ve tried for a little while ago. The application tended to be a little different for some of the shades but with Aqua I just didn’t find any difference in application. This could depend on a couple of things:
- I’ve probably learned to cope with the formula
- The formula of a water based crème is more similar to the formula of regular polishes
Either way, this polish is not only beautiful, it’s easy to apply, smell free and easy to remove (just pick up a corner and start lifting the polish from the nails).
The only thing you’ll have to remember while wearing water based polishes is that you shouldn’t wash your hands in warm water 4 hours after you’ve applied the polish. Now I did do that with one of the polishes and the edges started to detach from the nails but after some hours of being careful with my nails the edges actually dried back and I was able to keep the polish on.
