I had many plans for October but most of them had to be put on hold because of an unusually busy month both on the personal side and on the work side. I was happy to wear plain shades for a while after the nail art marathon that September had offered but I’m starting to slowly want to wear some new nail art again.
Nail art
In no particular order, here they are, my three favorites for October
- Halloween nail art with nail wraps from Miss Sophie’s
- Pink “water marbling” for the celebration of the breast cancer research
- Chevron nails from my guest post at Eleven.se
Polishes
The choice of polishes was the real tough task for this month. I’ve worn so many gorgeous polishes that choosing just three of them is a little bit unfair. I would have loved to have had the two polishes from A England on my top three and also Zoya Cinnamon. Let’s take a look at the three that actually made it to the top:
- Il Etait un Vernis – Something to remember – this shade is gorgeous both in sunlight and in artificial light!
- OPI – I Cannoli wear OPI – this is going to be a timeless polish that’s going to serve as background for many nail arts to come!
- IsaDora – Urban Green – even if it doesn’t look green, it’s a shade that I love right now!
Guest posts
This month my guest posts have all been published at Eleven.se. Let’s take a look at them:
- Water marble with OPI Venice – I really love how this came out
- Halloween nail art – Those bloody nails! It’s a good thing it’s all paint ;D
- Chevrons with polishes coming from Zoya’s fall collection Focus & Flair
- Graphical nails with negative spaces
- Contrasting gradient – this is kind of cool going from black to light creme
Mycket fint i oktober, precis som vanligt hos dig:)
All are soooo pretty. You really have the talent girl.
Love the chevron mani, a perfect and unusual color combination there! But I admire all your manis, always.
i think I need that new light grey OPI :)
