Half-moons on the side

I’m continuing today with one more nail art, this time done on a pink base (Powder Perfect-Isolde). I must say I really love this combination! Pink and silver/gray is just one of those perfect matches and I love the contrast between the shimmery pink background and the silver half-moons. I’m also in love with wearing the half-moons on the side, haha. I’m not sure why, it looks kind of elegant to me.

The silver used for this manicure is actually a black-ended silver coming from OPI named Haven’t the Foggiest. That adds to the contrast too. I’ve actually used guides for the half-moons. I’ve bought the guides this fall from Edgy Polish together with other chevron guides which I need to try on soon. It’s really easy to paint the half-moons with the guides!

Well, this is a unique one indeed. Love the base color used and love the side design for a change. Great job!

I really like half moons when they’re like this instead of by the base of the nails :)

I’m so glad you like them this way! I think I love them more this way than when they are at my cuticles :)
