31DC2015 – Day2 Orange Nails

I so love the water spotted technique! The randomness of the pattern, the contrast between the very thin lines and the thicker parts that one can create with it! You actually only need to spray once on top of the water surface for your entire manicure if you dip your fingers carefully in the right places on the created pattern! I love that :D

I’ve deliberately chosen bigger chunks of orange for certain nails. I thought it would be a nice contrast for the nails with thinner lines.

My base is IsaDora – Marble and I’ve used another IsaDora polish for the orange spots, namely IsaDora – Bird of Paradise. I also added one coat of China Glaze – Fairy Dust just because I wanted some extra sparkle!

See the Day 2 nails that I’ve done for 31DC2013 and 31DC2014.

WOWzers, these are SO awesome!!!! I really need to put on my big girl panties and try out the waterspot technique! I had such tragic results with watermarbling that I pretty much swore off ever using water in any mani ever again but these results are too gorgeous to ignore!

I love the water-spotting technique! After topcoat it always melts perfectly into the base.

These are awesome! I would wear these for Halloween!
