31DC2015 – Day 6 Violet nails

Today’s look is very subtle. I started with an absolutely gorgeous matte lavender base from Smitten Polish called “Let’s kiss”. I remember loving it earlier this spring when I first got it and I was actually surprised that it was even more beautiful than I remembered it to be! Not bad, right?

I used the fan brush technique to paint darker purple horizontal stripes with Cirque Colors – Lean and with ORLY – Luxe. I considered topcoating my manicure with a matte topcoat but I changed my mind. Lean dries matte in itself and I love how Luxe sparks subtle from the purple blend.
