Yet another month has passed and it feels like time has flied this month too! It’s been a busy month for me, also because of the upcoming nail care book that I’m currently working on.
I’ve also done a loose glitter guide in May where I’ve summarized my experiences with loose glitter and where I did some step by step tutorials showing how loose glitter could be used.
Features
I’ve had three features this month, all of them at Eleven.se.
- Faded dots with Revlon polishes – The color combination is not spring-like at all but I do love how these colors worked together. Spring has probably passed anyway. June should be a summer month, right? ;D
- Graduation nails – I did three looks for this guest post and one of them was a floral which I loved a lot!
- Marbled Nails – I love how these nails came out. They really mimic white marble!
Nail Art
I was really into florals this month and while I’ve actually done other types of nail arts, the flowers were my favorites. Let’s take a look at them.
- Dried flowers on a turquoise gradient – I love how these dried flowers worked together with the gradient and the glitter. I loved this manicure that much that I did a second manicure with dry flowers, this time mattified.
- Flowers done with the watercolor technique – Another favorite this month! I love white manicures and together with the turquoise flowers it was such a perfect match!
- Graduation nails – A third kind of floral manicure. I loved the interaction between the gold, the pink and the white.
Polishes
I feel I should have featured at least one of Zoya – Naturel Satins among my favorites this month but I just didn’t know which one of my other three favorites to remove so I’ll just mention them in general. I actually think they deserve a separate post as a collection so I’ll do that instead in the near future!
- Glam Polish – Ilusion – This is so pretty! Love the shade, love the finish, and love the application! Besides that, the polish actually worked really well as a base for my roses!
- A England – Captive Goddess – An intricate polish with a steel gray shade and a slightly duochrome finish coming from A England’s recently released collection Rosetti’s Goddess.
- Smitten Polish – Let’s Kiss– I love the matte finish this spring and this polish had such a gorgeous look on the nails! I loved the pastel shade and I loved how it looked as a matte!
Work in progress
I’m working on my second e-book is right now and I love the process from the idea to the finished book! In case you’ve missed it, here is my announcement.
Mycket väl vald nail art, de hör absolut till mina favoriter också!
