Nail Art – Roses on sheer white

I couldn’t help dreaming of another rose manicure the other day and I wanted it on a sheer base again. I did another rose manicure on a sheer base for a while ago and that one was the start of a whole series of flower manicures and now I’m back to the sheer base with roses on top.

This time I did some big roses trying to use the watercolor technique for the roses.

The base of my manicure is the absolutely gorgeous white jelly OPI – Don’t touch my tutu. The roses are done with a medium red – I picked up Revlon – Revlon Red for that – and a little bit of yellow in form of Pipe Dream Polish – Light of Day. For the leaves I used Wet ‘n Wild Miami Spirit with a little bit of Pipe Dream Polish Light of Day. I used the same watercolor technique for both the leaves and the roses because I wanted to match the sheerness of my beautiful white jelly base.

The watercolor technique is also one of the 26 nail art techniques explained in my nail art e-book which you can find on Amazon.

That is so pretty. My grandma used to have a satin throw/quilt that I would sleep with when I got to sleepover and it looked just like your nail design. It was white/off white with pink and red roses.

Så fint! Tror nästan jag ska försöka klicka hem Don’t Touch My Tutu, känns som att den vore en perfekt bas för brudmanikyren:)
