IKAT with Rimmel

I love the polishes coming from Rimmel, especially for using them as bases for nail art manicures. I feel they can be used in so many ways!

When I put up the blogpost about Go Wild-er-ness I asked you what you would love to see as nail art on this base and Aneta  from NotCopyACat requested an IKAT and I loved the idea!

There are several types of IKATs that can be done but my favorite right now is the chevron IKAT which I did on this lovely lavender background. For the IKAT I used Orly Luxe – I needed that metallic finish into my nail art and Very Violet from pixi.

I absolutely love that polish and I love how well it contrasted with both the gold foil and the lavender shade.
