I’ve already got two collections with nude mattes this spring (Zoya’s Naturel Satin and Mavala Nude Colors) but I now I’ve also got Ciaté – The Liquid Chalk collection. I realized afterwards that there might be some dupes, but that could be interesting too. I was also curious about the finish. How similar are they? We have a matte, a satin and a liquid chalk… Hm… Let’s take a look at the first one, Ciaté – Cheek to cheek.
Cheek to cheek is a beautiful dusty rose shade that dries half matte to matte. It has a great formula and actually covers in one single coat (Yay for that). It’s one of those polishes that I could reach to when I’m in a hurry because its easiness when it comes to application, its somewhat neutral shade, its great coverage and fast drying time.
Compared with the two other collections, Cheek to cheek has only one potential dupe among them, Mavala – Pink Boudoir. I swatched them next to each other, putting Ciaté on the long fingernail and pinkie fingernail and Mavala on the pointer- and the ringfingernail and I couldn’t see a difference. I would say they are so similar that I consider them dupes.
